International Human Rights Advocacy and Awareness Centre (IHRAAC) is a registered non-governmental organization, created/formed in 2020 to provide service for the noble cause of Maintaining Peace and Disputes between the Nations, Groups, Individuals and Organizations.
To set up seminars on issues of Human Rights, Peace, Democracy, Education, Health, Child labor, Women Rights, Drugs and Human Trafficking, rights of people with Disabilities, stigmazation.
In collaboration with local organizations, IHRAAC has carried out humanitarian aid for several people around the country and world and monitored election through our active volunteers.
We are active in all corners of the country and the world aa a whole, running Humanitarian Aid Programs, Raising Awareness and Protecting Human Rights, and Monitoring Local, Social and Political Situations.
IHRAAC Code Of Conduct And Ethical Standards
Introduction The International Human Rights Advocacy and Awareness Centre (IHRAAC) is dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights in accordance with international and regional standards. To uphold our mission with integrity and credibility, all members, volunteers, employees, and representatives of IHRAAC are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards.
These principles guide our actions and interactions within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Respect for Human Rights IHRAAC is committed to upholding and promoting the principles of human rights, as outlined in international and regional instruments. All members must respect the inherent dignity and equal rights of all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other characteristics.
- Non-Discrimination IHRAAC prohibits discrimination in any form, including but not limited to, discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or socio-economic status. Discriminatory practices are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- Transparency and Accountability IHRAAC values transparency in its operations and accountability for its actions. Members are expected to maintain accurate records of activities, expenditures, and decisions. Honest and open communication is encouraged within the organization.
- Conflicts of Interest Members must avoid situations where personal, financial, or other interests could conflict with the best interests of IHRAAC. If such conflicts arise, members are obligated to disclose them promptly and recuse themselves from related decisions or actions.
- Integrity and Professionalism IHRAAC members are expected to conduct themselves with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism. Honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior are fundamental principles that guide our work.
- Privacy and Confidentiality IHRAAC respects the privacy and confidentiality of individuals and organizations with whom it interacts. All sensitive information received or accessed during the course of IHRAAC activities must be handled with utmost confidentiality and used solely for the intended purpose.
- Use of Resources Members should utilize IHRAAC’s resources, including financial, human, and material resources, responsibly and efficiently, ensuring that they are used for the advancement of IHRAAC’s mission and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations IHRAAC and its members must adhere to all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and standards in their activities. Failure to comply may result in legal consequences for both the individual and the organization.
- Safety and Security IHRAAC is committed to the safety and security of its members and stakeholders. All members must take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of themselves and others while engaged in IHRAAC activities.
- Reporting Violations Members who become aware of any violations of this Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards or any unethical behavior within IHRAAC should report such incidents to the appropriate authority within the organization for investigation and resolution.
Consequences of Violations Violations of this Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards may result in disciplinary action, which may include suspension or termination of membership, volunteer status, or employment, as well as legal consequences in cases of serious misconduct.By adhering to this Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards, IHRAAC members demonstrate their commitment to upholding the highest ethical and human rights principles, ensuring that IHRAAC continues to work towards its mission with credibility and integrity.
